The Picture This Festival for the Planet was established to celebrate everyday storytellers and change makers worldwide, showcasing the positive future they see for our planet through the art of film. 

PETER RABBIT 2: The Runaway

Peter Rabbit joined forces with the United Nations (UN), the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and the UN Foundation to enlist more food heroes, like Peter, who see the value in fruits and vegetables for a balanced diet and a healthier planet.

The United Nations and Talent from The Angry Birds Movie 2 joined forces on the ActNow Campaign to urge citizen action on climate change.

SMURFS: THE LOST VILLAGE

The Smurfs are encouraging children, young people and adults to make the world happier, more peaceful, equitable and healthy with a campaign launched with the United Nations, UNICEF, and the United Nations Foundation.

The United Nations’ joined forces with THE ANGRY BIRDS MOVIE and launched a campaign to promote a happy planet and encourage people to take action against climate change.

HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA 2

In Latin America, Hotel Transylvania 2 and Sony’s Vivo El Cambio campaign brought together families for Halloween fun and to recycle used electronics.

THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN™ 2

Spider-Man transformed into a planet-saving Super Hero by leading Earth Hour’s “lights out” event in 7,000 cities and towns in 162 countries in order to raise awareness about saving energy.

THE SMURFS™ 2

In this nationwide campaign with the U.S. Forest Service and Ad Council, the forest-dwelling Smurfs encouraged kids to get outside and enjoy “America the Bluetiful.”

CRACKLE (BRAZIL)

In Brazil, cinema students teamed up with professional filmmakers and actors to make short films aimed at igniting a global discussion on climate change in this partnership with The World Bank’s Connect4Climate initiative.
