Sony Pictures strives to increase the use of low-emission and electric vehicles in its own our fleet and through its employees commuting practices. SPE has phased out non-hybrid vehicles for courier services on the Studio Lot, switching to hybrid and natural gas vehicles.

SPE RIDESHARE 

SPE Rideshare encourages employees to use alternative commute modes by offering a monthly cash incentive to employees who walk, bike, carpool, bus, train, vanpool or drive both EV/Hybrid vehicles.  Additionally, it offers preferred parking to employees that carpool, emergency ride home/taxi vouchers and ride-matching.  SPE Rideshare currently facilitates employee vanpools that serve the following areas: Canyon Country, Santa Clarita, Woodland Hills, Thousand Oaks, Long Beach and Cerritos.
